Angiogram - Contrast injected into right atrium

This contrast injection shows a markedly enlarged right atrium with contrast in the severely distended caudal vena cava (caudally) and a markedly enlarged right auricle cranially.

The video shows the same but over time as the contrast is injected.

Note the contrast going retrograde into the caudal vena cava, the right auricle filling with time and the relative contrast in the right atrium (more dense) when compared to that in in the right ventricle and pulmonary arteries (less dense). Also note that the contrast stays within the right atrium for a long time.
