Three limb leads (I, II, and III) have been recorded simultaneously. There are deep S waves present in leads II and III and the QRS complex in lead I is completely negative although very small. This shift in the terminal forces (the last region depolarized) toward the right ventricle most likely indicates what? All of the complexes are small, most likely because of the pleural effusion "shorting-out" the transmission of the electrical signal from the heart to the body surface. The basic rhythm is sinus with a heart rate of approximately 100 to 120 beats/minute. The fourth complex is abnormal and after the ninth complex a period of nonsustained tachycardia occurs. What type of arrhythmia is this?
