Please understand that the VMTH is a working clinical and teaching hospital. Our staff, faculty and clinicians are very busy treating patients and instructing students. We absolutely are not able to give medical advice via the internet, e-mail, regular mail or the telephone. If you have specific questions regarding your animal you will need to make an appointment with one of our clinics. Please consult our General Information page before contacting the clinics.

If you are seeking information about a particular condition, treatment, current research or similar topics, consult our Information Brochures. If you don't find what you are looking for there, then you may visit the UC Davis Health Sciences Libraries site and click on Ask a Question Now. The Librarians there are skilled at searching veterinary and medical journals and should be able to come up with the information you are looking for, if it is available.
