LART Rescue Trailer The LART trailer is a 2-horse straight load Sundowner trailer.  Once the trailer is customized, it will be able to carry all the equipment needed for rescues.  The equipment that it holds includes: 1 medium and 1 large UCD-Anderson Slings, 2 rescue glides, ropes, first aid supplies, safety equipment, and other items necessary to facilitate a successful rescue.  Often times, animals that are the subject of LART rescues need medical attention.  By taking the trailer to the scene of the rescue, the animal can be transported back to the UC Davis Veterinary Hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.  In the future, the trailer will be loaned out to groups and events in which there is the possibility for injuries to large animals.
