Equine Medicine Field Service
Equine Field Service is a 24-hr mobile service that responds to the medical needs of horses in areas of Yolo and Solano counties. The service, which is staffed by two internal medicine specialists and resident veterinarians, provides general equine medical care for a wide variety of equine medical disorders, lameness evaluations and minor surgical procedures. Preventive health care, including dentistry, herd health maintenance and vaccination programs are also provided. The service is equipped with fiber optic endoscopes as well as modern imaging systems for computed radiography and ultrasonography.
