| The Clinical Laboratory Services of the Veterinary
Medical Teaching Hospital process and analyze more than 55,000 laboratory
samples on more than 35,000 animal patients each year. Our highly qualified
staff provides essential, state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and professional
expertise to clinical veterinarians at the University of California and
throughout the state of California. Bringing new tests to the practice
of veterinary laboratory medicine and improving existing tests is an important
goal of the VMTH Laboratories, and we work closely with faculty to facilitate
“translation” of their research into new diagnostic assays. |
