Q: When can my animal be seen by the Dermatology Service?
A: The Dermatology Service receives cases on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Though the Service is always busy, we can still see emergency and urgent cases.
 
Q: Do I need a referral?
A: No, even though a referral from your regular veterinarian is encouraged, the Dermatology Service also takes non-referred, regular outpatient appointments.
 
Q: How long will the appointment take?
A: Dermatology Service appointment slots are 45 minutes; but a minimum of one and one half hours should be allotted, as extra time may be needed for more complex cases.
 
Q: Can I be present during the examination of my pet?
A: Absolutely! The Dermatology Service appreciates the input of the owners, and encourages their active involvement.
